Youth Activities & Ministries

Sunday School
Provides a safe place for youth to develop their personal relationship with God, affirm their faith and reach their full potential through God’s word. Classes are designed for youth of all ages and helps them to understand how God fits into their life. Sunday school meets every Sunday 9:30am to 10:45am.

Praise Dancers
Utilizes contemporary Christian music and dance to minister to the church and community. Youth of all ages and gender are encouraged to participate. Rehearsals are the  every Friday from 6:30pm – 8:00pm. There is no rehearsal on the first Friday of every month.

Youth Choir
The Youth Choir invites Youth of all ages to use their voices and energy to worship and praise God. Rehearsals are every second and third Saturday from 2:00pm – 3:30pm

Youth Council
The Council is a ministry for High School Youth focusing on the development of talents and gifts through fundraising, volunteer activities and special programs.

Ray Pratt Scholarship
The Ray Pratt Scholarship provides funds for youth entering into college and on-going financial support for continuing education. Monies are raised by congregant donations, annual activities and events.

Adult Ministries

Sunday School
Adult Sunday school is held every Sunday from 9:30am – 10:45am in the church sanctuary. The classes provide biblical instruction and discussions to assist the adult in developing a stronger relationship with God.

Bible Studies
Designed to explore the bible and it’s teaching in a stress free, open format.
Classes meet every Wednesday at 11:00am . There is a second adult Bible study which meets every Wednesday evening from 6:00pm – 7:30pm.

Women’s Fellowship
A Ministry for all women who love and profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, who feel they are blessed to be a blessing to others. The women engage in the spiritual nurturing and renewal of faith through works of care, charity, kindness, specialized projects and programs. With a focus on women and children their service and mission is global, national and local in scope.
Women’s Fellowship meets the third Sunday of every month at 9:30am.

Men’s Fellowship
Our Men’s Ministry meets every fourth 4th Saturday of each month except the months of July, August and December. The Men’s Ministry has speakers on various topics such as; man’s responsibility to Christ first, and then his family, men’s health issues, financial planning issues, setting up and maintaining a business, discussions about personal real life journeys, we also have an all-male choir, “Journey Men for Christ Ensemble” that will sing every fourth 4th Sunday during our church service. “Journey Men for Christ Ensemble”, rehearses every Saturday at 9:00am, except the fourth Saturday at 10:30am, and on the fourth Sunday at 10:00am prior to Church Service. Please come out and fellowship with us, all are welcomed.

Shepherding Program
The mission of the Shepherding Program is to nurture the members of the congregation through prayers and visitation. Each shepherd is encouraged to speak with their flock member on a regular basis. The shepherds also effectively communicate all emergency or immediate response information to all members of the congregation. The shepherds meet whenever necessary.

Greeters & Ushers
The greeter and usher ministries provide a warm welcome to all who attend church services and other special programs. They demonstrate the Love of God as they meet the needs of the congregation during the service. These ministries meet whenever necessary.

The Stewardship committee’s purpose is to encourage and help members to develop into generous and faithful stewards of the many gifts – time, talent and treasure – God has given them.
The committee meets the fourth Monday of every month at 7pm

Music Ministries
The Music and Worship Committee meets regularly with the pastor, music minister and choir director to plan and schedule worship services and to present special or alternative services for session approval. They assist in the administration of the choir and music programs. They schedule the worship leaders and schedule quest pastors in the absence of the pastor. They also negotiate agreements and provide for the services of qualified musicians and a choir director. They oversee the communion assistants, the children sermonette ministry, the ushers and the greeters. There are four choirs & everyone is welcome to join in and sing His praises. Music and Worship meets the fourth Monday of every month at 7pm

Youth Choir

Inspirational Choir
Rehearsal 2nd & 3rd Saturdays 11:00am to 1:00pm in the Sanctuary. Sing every 3rd Sunday

Sanctuary Choir
Rehearsal Thursday evenings 7:00 – 9:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Sing every 1st and 2nd Sunday

Men’s Choir
Rehearsal every Saturday 9:00am to 11:00am except the fourth Saturday 10:30am to 12:30pm in the sanctuary. Sing every fourth Sunday

Praise Team
Rehearsal every Saturday at 11am. The Praise Team leads the congregation in Praise and Worship at the start of Sunday Service and Special Programs.

Finance & Property
This Committee shall, under the Session, have Full Charge, Supervision, Control, Maintenance and Management of all Property and Funds of the Church; except as herein otherwise provided. The Committee shall be composed of the President of the Corporation as Chairman, the Treasurer of the Corporation, a Deacon and at least five [5] members of the Congregation, including at least one [1] memebr of the Stewardship Committee. This committee shall have general oversight of all financial and secular affairs of the Church; shall supervise the receiving, depositing and disbursing of all funds and the preparation of the budget; shall contain or cause to be obtained fidelity bonding to cover financial losses. It shall make such reports of its transactions as may be required by the Session. It shall audit annually, or cause to be audited annually, all accounts of the Church and related organizations. This Committee is responsible, arranging the neccesary facility use arrangements for the congregation and the community at large.
